- Carolina Chickadee — Tiny, with a black cap and bib. Acrobatic at feeders.
- Tufted Titmouse — Soft gray with a peaked crest and big dark eyes.

- Painted Bunting — Often called the most beautiful bird in North America: blue head, green back, red underparts. A summer treat.
